as we near the middle of the month of May, state economies start to reopen. Many questions spring up, like the yellow dandelions that are coming up now... When will the economy fully reopen? when a note was left at an Amaud Arbery memorial, investigators said that the letter was only meant to give condolences. Here is what the short letter said...
"Ahmaud - I am so sorry. I should have stopped them. I am so sorry."
the Arbery attorney said that they needed to find the mysterious person who left the unsigned letter. When the person who left the letter was found, the person was not identified to be related to the scene that killed Ahmaud.
the Argentine black and white tegus has now reached the US state of Georgia. This comes as the also invasive "murder hornet" (listen TO THIS NEWS NERDS EPISODE to learn more about the "murder hornet") has come to the state of Washington, just about two weeks ago. This giant 4 foot lizard is being targeted by officials from the state of Georgia. The reason why the lizard is bad and should be killed, is that the animal can kill and eat many of Georgia's animals, some of them protected themselves. This invasive lizard can even eat American alligators and gopher tortoises. the Argentine black and white tegus can practically eat anything, says a biologist. So if you see a 4 foot lizard anytime soon, don't be suprised!
